Stone Creek Golf Club is dedicated to enhancing the game of golf. We provide excellent programs at a reasonable price for golfers of all ages and abilities. Our focus is on the whole game, including the full swing, the short game, course management, rules and etiquette, the importance of proper equipment and enjoyment of golf.
Ted Westling, PGA
Director of InstructionTed observes, teaches, and coaches each student to understand the importance of clubface position and swing plane. He has been teaching golf since 1984. His playing ability has allowed him to be five time Oregon Senior Player of the Year. In 2007 & 2008 he was voted the Oregon Junior Golf Leader. Winner of the 2012 Player Development Award from the Oregon Professional Golf Association. He can help your game whether you are a beginner or an accomplished player.
PGA Associate Instructor
Austin is one of only five Trackman Certified Professionals in Oregon ranked level two or higher. Austin believes what happens consistently at impact, is the most important part of the golf swing. Lessons with Austin involve Trackman technology, slow motion video analysis, along with Titleist Performance Institute mobility screening, and physical corrections. Increasing mobility, along with increasing the connection between your mind, and your body is the only proven way to swing the club more efficiently.
Along with private lessons, Austin is also in charge of our junior golf programs, which include:

- Operation 36
- Stone Creek Junior Golf Camp
Austin is also a certified Taylormade Club Fitter, and uses trackman technology to ensure that the customer is fit into clubs that produce the most efficient ball flight possible.
Austin has maintained a very high level of play after entering the golf business in 2018. Being named as a member of Team Portland in 2018, and 2019 for the Oregon PGA Regional Cup. With two wins in 2019, he finished 7th in the Oregon PGA Player of the Year race. Austin was one of two Golf Professionals from Oregon, that qualified for the 2019 National Car Rental Assistants Championship in Port St. Lucie Florida.
Bruce Stewart, PGA
Bruce has been a well-known player and teacher in our area for over 30 years. Bruce was named “Teacher of the Year” for the state of Oregon in 2008 and as a player has qualified for the Senior US Open on 3 occasions. He has had the pleasure of instructing a two time PNGA Women’s Amateur Champion, seven OGA junior “Players of the Year”, a PNGA Junior Champion, and eleven high school individual championships. Of the many high school players Bruce has coached, 80 have gone on to receive college scholarships. Bruce will use video analysis (V1 Pro) as well as Flite Scope technology to help with the learning process. Bruce believes there is much more to the game than just having a good golf swing.
Doug Suse, PGA
Head Golf ProfessionalDoug has over 20 years of teaching experience and enjoys working with players of all abilities. Teaching philosophy is based on the fact that there is no perfect swing. Everyone has a different level of strength, flexibility, and athletic ability. Video analysis is a helpful tool and is often used to speed up the process of learning and improvement. Golf is a game and regardless of what your goals are the idea is to have fun! Focus will always be a combination of technique and playing the game for maximum enjoyment.
